OTHER FIELDS OF INTEREST:

Till today I have traveled close to 40 countries to expand my business interests, but my passion remains discovering India and I have visited remotest of locations/areas.

Even before I finished high school, I had a deep interest in entrepreneurship and in fact, had started a home-based business in gaming.

And even before I finished my undergraduate studies,

  1. I founded two startups: (a) milk supply chain in the local Dehradun area, and (b) drinking water bottling unit for the aviation sector and for a FMCG chain.
  2. And, moreover, I founded a not-for-profit animal care centre which evolved into the Shape Himalaya Foundation. The foundation is dedicated to creating local impact guided by global perspectives, and its activities have included, among other things, a prison inmates program which established a bakery inside the prison, promoted skill development (e.g. carpentry), meditation programs, musical therapy program.

In 2016 I established a library at a Doon School funded project, the Takshashila school in village Chakha in Rudraprayag district.

I have continued to mentor young minds—for example, especially those young people who have passed out with scholarships from Doon School.

I organised the International Conference and Exhibition on Jain History, Art and Culture, in 2018, in collaboration with, Museum of Asian Art in Corfu, Greece, Indian Embassy in Greece, Indo Hellenic Society for Culture and Development in Athens, Greece, and Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi
